I work with you to bring together ideas for your tattoo design, so that it fits your body perfectly. You can bring a sketch, photos or ideas, or we can look for some on the day. I can piece together a very rough idea with you for you to see.
I can then give you a quote and an estimate on the amount of time required to do the tattoo. Then we book an appointment for the tattoo itself, and a deposit is made for the tattoo, the minimum of which is a drawing fee.
After the consult, I spend time designing the tattoo for you, so that it is all ready to go on tattoo day. For larger more detailed pieces, I allow around 2 weeks for drawing time. I get back to you with finalising the design before the appointment. If larger changes need to be made, extra drawing time is required. For small changes, it is easy to do them on the day.
My designs explore deep transformative experiences, gnosis through esoteric practices, mystical themes and the exploration of consciousness. I offer prints at an A4 or A3 size, or please get in touch for custom work at a small or large scale (eg murals)

Yes. Some areas more than others. It feels a bit like a hot scratch.

Yes. You have to purchase it and apply it yourself. You can get it from the chemist or buy different brands and strengths online. Please read and follow the instructions carefully, as numbing cream can be toxic in high doses.
Numbing cream takes 40 mins to start working, so it is best that you purchase it before your appointment.

No. we legally cannot sell or apply it to clients, they must get their own.

Remove wrapping after an hour, when you get home, and rinse it with clean water.
It is important to keep it clean, so washing in the shower is a good thing.
Apply a thin layer of aftercare cream twice a day, as it has antibacterial properties and keeps the tattoo from scabbing up.
Do not soak the tattoo in a swimming pool, bath, ocean or sauna, as it is healing. This can cause infection, or cause some ink to fall out.
Do not get it sunburnt as it is healing as it can also cause ink loss.
Your tattoo should be healed within 2 to 3 weeks. It will get itchy as it heals, try not to pick at it.
In the case that an infection occurs, a doctor can prescribe antibiotics. It is important to see a doctor ASAP if you get an infection. Infections can occur when bacteria get in the open wound within the first few days of healing, which is why it is very important to keep it clean.

My minimum is $150 all the way up to a day rate of $1100.
For most tattoos, I price per piece, roughly based on amount of detail, drawing time and tattoo time.

During the appointment, Come dressed comfortably, bring snacks, your pillow, a blanket if its cold, your headphones, a charger, or something to keep you occupied if it is a long sitting.
For long sittings I also enjoy listening to audiobooks or podcasts with headphones.
